Whenever I have friends or family over, I love setting out a spread of little bites and dips. Honestly sometimes the appetizers end up stealing the show more than the main meal, which is why I’m always looking for new ideas. If you’re like me and want a mix of tried-and-true favorites with a few new surprises, then you’ll be happy to know that these party appetizers cover all the bases.

We’ve got all the classics that never disappoint, like pigs in a blanket, deviled eggs, and stuffed mushrooms. There are also plenty of dips to dig into, like creamy spinach-artichoke dip, a warm baked pepper jelly cream cheese dip, and even a cheesy lasagna dip that’s like a meal on its own.

And because no party spread is complete without a little variety, we’ve got sliders, chicken wings, and other bite-size favorites to round out the list. Here are 50 easy and delicious appetizers to get your party started.

Extra-Crispy Fried Chicken Wings

As much as we love baked chicken wings, crunchy fried wings are on another level. When the light breading hits the hot oil, it locks in moisture and adds crunch. Plus, frying really doesn’t take all that long — this recipe is done in 30 minutes.

Crispy Baked Chicken Wings

The key to the crispiest baked chicken wings is baking powder. The baking powder helps raise the pH level of the chicken skin, creating tiny air bubbles on the surface which become crispy when cooked at a higher oven temp.
